Event News: Maximising the use of by-products from the agro-industry
Joint session about the valorisation of agro-industrial by-products at the RRB2022 Conference
By-products from the agro-industry can be used in a variety of ways. The session “Valorisation routes for agro–industrial side–streams” is dedicated to this topic and will cover the following two aspects:
- How to identify and explore the most appropriate extraction processes for feedstocks
- How to upscale these feedstock and integrate them into products
Talks will be given by experts from the projects Model2bio, PROLIFIC, and INGREEN; all funded by BBI-JU.

About the RRB Conference
Experts from the fields of industrial biotechnology, sustainable (green) chemistry and agricultural policy will give presentations about:
